Zoom offers integrated live transcription

The live transcription is available at moment for “Licenced users”

To Enable it, go your account > Settings, and to section bellow and enable: “Closed captioning” and Enable live transcription service to show transcript on the side panel in-meeting


Closed captioning:
Allow host to type closed captions or assign a participant/third party device to add closed captions
Enable live transcription service to show transcript on the side panel in-meeting

Try

1- Update the driver of the Camera, to do so , Control panel ->Search and open Device manager -> Expand “Cameras” Right click on the USB camera -> Select “Update driver”. Try 2 options, first the automatic option(recommended)

If that is not solving you Zoom’s videos issues, try to update the Windows 10. CLick on “Start” and search for “Update”, you should see “Check for update”, if there any update you should something like that:

Open Zoom and try to see if the video is working now: Once Zoom App is opened:

Click on your name(avatar) at top corrner -> Click on “Settings”  -> Videos. If the issue video on Zoom is still not working. Try update the Zoom. The last version of September 28, 2020 version 5.3.1 (52877.0927)

Meetings and Webinars 

  • Multi-pin and Multi-spotlight: With host permission, users can pin up to 9 participants on their end. The host can also spotlight up to 9 participants for everyone in their meeting.
  • Custom Gallery View Organization: Hosts and co-hosts can now re-order the gallery view to suit their needs, and choose whether to deploy this view to participants, or allow participants to create their own custom views. Simply click and drag videos to the position you want them in gallery view, and this layout will remain in place until released.
  • High Fidelity Audio Mode: This option in Advanced Audio enhances “Original Audio” mode, allowing for disabling echo cancellation & post-processing, while raising audio codec quality to 48Khz, 96Kbps mono/192kbps stereo for professional audio transmission in music education and performance applications. Professional audio interface, microphone, and headphones are required.
  • Custom Languages for Language Interpretation: Custom languages are now supported, in addition to the default languages that are already provided. Custom languages must be configured on the Web portal by the host. Interpreters and participants accessing the custom languages will need to be on client 5.2.1 or later to use this feature.

  • Phone Audio Options for Webinar Attendees: Webinar attendees can now access Phone Call and Call Me options for audio, in addition to the Computer Audio option. An admin must enable the premium Call-Out feature on the Web portal, which requires the Audio Conferencing add-on.

 

New Updates to Web

  • Manage External Contacts: Account owners and admins can now view external contacts associated with their account, as well as their account’s channels that these external contacts are a part of. This can be accessed within the Zoom web portal, under User Management, then Users. The External Contacts column will show the number of external contacts each user has and they can view details about the external contacts, including their name, email addresses, added date and channels they are a part of, by clicking on this value. The account owner and admins can also remove the external contact completely from their account.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. Click Account Settings.
  3. In the Recording tab, navigate to the Local Recording option and verify that the setting is enabled.
    If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog displays, choose Turn On to verify the change.
  4. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in your account, click the lock icon, and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Group

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with the privilege to edit user groups.
  2. Click Group Management.
  3. Click the name of the group, then click the Settings tab.
  4. In the Recording tab, navigate to the Local Recording option on the Recording tab and verify that the setting is enabled.
    If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog displays, choose Turn On to verify the change.

I had the opportunity to work from more 10 years, I have learned so far:

  1. Need to have a discipline, and behave exactly the same way when you will be working: Get Dress!
  2. Working desk, if you do not have  a spare room try use a room suitable for working your computer.
  3. Working hours, try to respect your starting time to work as your normal starting at office.. Your colleagues or customers may want to contact you.
  4. Break. Try to respect the break time – if possible let your colleague know that you are break – Status – Appear way or Right back for example Microsoft Teams.
  5. Videoconferencing. If you are going have an important video-conference online, by Zoom or Team -Let the rest of member of your home to know – Add sign on door for example – Keep calm – please to not disturb – I’m busy.
  6. Avoid if is possible call your colleagues instead to send emails, as you were at office: Phone call, again call call by Internet.
  7. Try to avoid your stress due to your work to affect the rest of the member of family.
  8. Time to go bed. Try respect the time used to go bed. You a good sleep.
  9. Be serious, you are working from: You are not on holiday or bank holiday avoid distraction – Avoid TV, gaming or watching movies
  10. Changing hours. If you need a day off, like if you were working at office. Again, let your direct manager to know or apply and wait to be approved. You need communicate to your direct manager if you are going be way for urgency. You must to sincere and honest.
