Install linux on Windows 10
You will need, to turn on WSL, Control Panel\Programs and click Turn Windows features on or off
Search for WSL(Windows Subsystem for Linux:
Now you can install any Linux OS, to install for example Ubuntu:
1- Go to Microsoft Store, and search for Ubuntu:
You can also download Linux software for example, Download CentOS WSL
The first thing to have is a CentOS on WSL (Windows 10 FCU or above), based on WSldl. Basically, it’s a zip file containing rootfs and some other files. CentOS as WSL Instance is an open source project available on Github, so download it here(https://github.com/yuk7/CentWSL)
Remember to run those apps as Administrtor.
For example:
Install app on Centos running WSL:
yum install java-1.7.0-openjdk
Activate Windows 10 Pro N
Activate Windows Pro N
1- On the search, type CMD, once the “Command Prompt” appears, right-click on it and choose “Run as Administrator”

3 Step III – Type or copy and paste:

4 Step IV – Type or copy and paste

Real situation:
A customer laptop stopped working, because the SSD(Solid State Drive) was having some issues.
After removed the SSD from the laptop and installed it on external SATA reader as you can see on the next image 1
Solution 1:
Tried to read and format the SSD using Microsoft Windows 10
Windows 10 failed
The following drives contain an unrecognised configuration and can’t be used with Storage Spaces.
Reset the drive to make them usable. If the drives continues to be unrecognised, you might need to replace them as you can see on the next image 2
Solution 2:
Tried to read and format the SSD using Ubuntu:
Ubuntu recognised the SSD and formatted it
When the end-users have an issue, do not care about what operation system is better or more popular than another, and so.
They have a problem and they want a solution.
